    Samantha received a wheelchair ramp
In April of 2008, Anna's Celebration of Life had the privilege of working with Samantha, a beautiful 12-year-old young lady, and her family. Samantha's Mom contacted the foundation looking for assistance for her daughter who needed a wheelchair ramp to allow her easier mobility from her house to the school bus each day. With the help of Rod's Quality Sealcoating, John Dietz, and Shelby Material, we were able to install a poured concrete ramp from Samantha's front door to the street. After installation, we had the good fortune of meeting Samanatha's dad who told us that life is much easier and safer for his daughter with the new ramp. Her ability to motor to the school bus has been wonderful.

Chrissy receives and automatic door opener
In 2005 we had the honor of working with an amazing young lady named Chrissy. Her bright smile and joyous laugh are infectious. In her early 20's and seeking additional independence, her family contacted us asking about the possibility of assistance with the purchase and installation of an automatic door opener for the door leading to her backyard. This also lets her father back into the house after he accidentally locks himself outside with her inside. Chrissy's undending determination in living with Cerebral Palsy has taught us all to embrace life to the fullest.

    Kyle received a portable ramp
Our beautiful Kyle was in need of a portable wheelchair ramp to allow easier access in and out of his home. Kyle was 19 months old when we were able to provide this ramp. Kyle and his family were able to motor about more easily once everyday access was made possible. It is with a very sad heart that I have to tell you that Kyle lost his battle after complications from surgery just a few months after receiving the ramp. Our love and prayers are with his family and we thank them for allowing us to be a small part of his journey here on earth.
